This website is a collection of stories, photos, memories, and other elements designed to help bring people together, and encourage us to see things from different perspectives. Nobody has all the answers, nobody is right all the time, nobody is perfect, and I am nobody. I am just Joy. I’ve lived a bit, and learned a few things, and if I can, I would like to make the world a little bit better, while I am here.
I have a few things to say, and this seems like a pretty good way to do it. What’s that lyric? “Don’t hand me no lines, and keep your hands to yourself”. If you choose to read what I write, or listen to what I have to say, all I ask is that you don’t bother responding to me, if all you have to bring is Nonsense, and, yeah, keep your hands to yourself. I can’t count how many times I have been assaulted for having an opinion that was contrary to someone else.
Violence is unacceptable, and I would suggest that if your only response to someone’s words is violence, that you are probably most of the problem. Get help, please. At any rate, if you want to come after me for an opinion, do so with your grown-up words, please and thank you. And do the same thing with all those you encounter, if you would, please. Don’t be part of the problem.
